At the very beginning, we would like to present to you this gorgeous antique French Ormolu and Sevres Porcelain jewellery casket, circa 1860 in date.
This magnificent casket is rectangular in shape with the top and each side exceptionally well decorated with superb ormolu mounts in the form of acanthus leaf corner straps, beading and ribbon twirls with foliate cresting which frame fabulous hand painted Sevres porcelain panels.
The panels feature splendid scenes of classically dressed children playing in landscapes, enclosed within charming gilt borders against a Bleu Celeste background.
The lid opens to reveal the sumptuous original peach velvet lined interior, which is ready to keep custody of your precious items.
It is raised on four magnificent gilt ball feet, which add an extra touch of opulence to this gorgeous piece.
Next, we would like to introduce you to a beautiful pair of fine mini Meiiji period signed Japanese Satsuma vases, dating from the late 19th century. These vases are a testament to the exquisite craftsmanship and artistic heritage of the Meiji era.
Each vase features an ovoid-shaped body, meticulously painted in polychrome enamels and adorned with gold detailing. The surface of the vases is richly decorated with imagery depicting the “1000 Rakan faces,” a traditional and revered motif in Japanese art. The intricate detailing of these faces showcases the incredible skill and precision of the artisans who created these masterpieces.
Both vases are signed and each bears a painted seal mark on the base, further attesting to their authenticity and the high esteem in which they are held. These marks are a guarantee of quality and provenance, making them a prized addition to any collection.

Another exquisite item is this large pair of antique Royal Vienna Austrian double handled porcelain vases on stands bearing the signature of the artist, and dating from the second half of the 19th century.
Each with superb quality hand painted mythological scenes on burgundy red ground with gilded foliate leaf and beaded decoration. They each bear the Royal Vienna beehive mark to the underside.
Both vases were enamelled after Angelica Kaufmann, one with the title ‘Amors Zeitvertreib’ Sei wied gut, ( Cupid’s pastime. Be good again ), the other “Cupido u Cephisa ”. Solt ich, ( Cupid and Cephisa. Should I).

Last but not least, we would like to show you this delightful antique pair of Louis Revival ormolu and Sevres porcelain three-branch candelabra, circa 1860 in date.
This is a beautiful example of late 19th century French porcelain and ormolu mounted three light candelabra, each with floral and leaf branches above the cherubic central column, to a floral painted porcelain collar and on stepped circular base.
Each candelabra features floral and leaf branches with detachable sconces above beautifully sculpted cherubic central columns with inverted baluster bleu céleste columns below.
The bleu celeste bases have panels of hand painted country flowers with gilt highlights raised on stepped circular bases on tripartite feet.
There is no mistaking their unique quality and design which is sure to be cherished by any admirer of ornamental porcelain.
