So whether you collect antique walking sticks with intricate silver plate handles or antique canes from the late 19th century, you are sure to find something here to pique your interest. We also have antique swords that would make a dashing statement mounted on a wall at home or perhaps in the dining room or office.
The variety of walking sticks and canes available is wide and varied. Antique walking sticks and canes are available made from a vast array of materials including oak, teak, hawthorn, bamboo, and many more. The thing which often makes an antique cane or walking stick unique is the decorative handle which is often carved and made from materials such as ebony, ivory or other precious and rare materials as well as silver or even gold. There is even a type of cane known as a sailors cane which has a handle carved from whale’s teeth.
With unique, beautiful designs crafted onto these antique canes, it’s little wonder that they are highly sought after amongst antique collectors. We even have antique walking sticks from China.
In our inventory from time to time you may also find examples of antique walking stick stands, a feature in many a hallway of grand houses, usually made from fine quality wood and very popular in Victorian times.
