Antique William IV Burr Walnut Tea or Card Table c.1830

We feature this as it is rare to find a William IV period table made from burr walnut – they were almost always in mahogany.

This card table features a rectangular swivel top with hand-carving to the solid walnut base and around the top. The table has an acanthus carved column and stands on cabriole legs with inset castors.

The dimensions of this fine table are, in centimetres, Height 75 x Width 91.5 x Depth 45 or if you prefer feet and inches, Height 2 feet, 5 inches x Width 3 feet, 0 inches x Depth 1 foot, 6 inches. The table has an excellent provenance, coming from a country estate in Dorset.

On offer for just £1650 and available for shipping worldwide, please contact us for a quotation or for any more details you may require or visit our north London showroom.

That’s it for now, our buyers are, as ever, scouring the country and further afield, for more fine items which we shall feature here in a future roundup.
