First up on the recently sold list is this Antique Swiss 12 Air Burr Walnut Musical Box c.1890.
This is a delightful antique 19th century Swiss musical box playing 12 airs, dating from around 1890.
There is a hinged lid which opens to reveal a 23.5cm brass cylinder with ratchet lever winding, muffler to the comb and tune indicator.
The music sheet No 20619 was lithographed by Ruegg & Schaufelberger of Zurich and depicts a picture of Mozart and Rossini together with a list of all the tunes which are as follows:

4. Do re mi fa

The case is made from burr walnut and is decorated with ebonised stringing. The original pictorial music sheet is attached to the inside of the lid. The new owner will surely get hours of pleasure from this.
Next up is this Antique Victorian Marquetry Sofa / Centre Table dating from c.1880.
Fully restored to its former glory, this antique Victorian walnut and rosewood marquetry and crossbanded sofa table can also be used as a centre table and is circa 1880 in date. An elegant and functional table that will make a wonderful addition to any room. The desk is crafted from beautiful walnut and has a capacious drawer. It is finished on all sides so that it can stand freely in the middle of a room. It stands on beautiful cabriole legs, and is embellished with gilded ormolu mounts.
The next item to have been purchased by a discerning buyer is this Antique Vernis Martin Display Cabinet Vitrine c.1880.
This beautiful cabinet has exquisite hand painted decoration and exquisite ormolu mounts. The central panel has a beautiful painting depicting a courting couple and the two side panels have paintings of country scenes. It has serpentine glass to the front and sides, the interior is lined in beautiful velvet ,and there is a useful cupboard in the bottom.
A suitable setting for its new owners most prized possessions.
