It is a pair of antique English oval rosewood and marquetry inlaid occasional tables which were made at or around the turn of the 20th century and have been beautifully inlaid by an Edwardian master craftsman with an intricate and attractive marquetry of satinwood and ivory.

The tables are 69cm in height and are 68cm wide x 46cm deep, (Height 2 feet, 3 inches x Width 2 feet, 3 inches x Depth 1 foot, 6 inches).

As you can see from the illustrations, the tables each have two tiers and each have a useful shelf underneath. They stand on beautiful and robust cabriole legs. They are in excellent condition and ready to be placed in a new home.

A very nice pair of antique English hexagonal flame mahogany occasional tables, which would also be perfect for use as end tables, which date from around 1920.

Take a look at the rich flame mahogany tops which are crossbanded in mahogany and line inlaid with satinwood in a geometric pattern. Each table is fitted with a useful drawer and they stand on attractive cabriole legs that terminate in brass lion’s paw castors for ease of movement.

This pair of antique occasional tables is in excellent condition having been beautifully restored in our workshops. The tables measure 74cm high by 64cm wide and 64cm deep, (Height 2 feet, 5 inches x Width 2 feet, 1 inch x Depth 2 feet, 1 inch).
