Welcome to our latest roundup of top quality antique furniture and other items recently sold by Regent Antiques. This time we are concentrating on antique dining tables and antique dining chairs, one of our specialities.

First of all may we show you this Antique Victorian Extending Dining Table which dates from around 1880.

The table has two original leaves and can comfortably seat up to eight people if required making it suitable for both dining and small conference or meeting purposes. It is made from solid mahogany, the two leaves can be added or removed as required to suit the occasion by a special winding mechanism and it sits on it’s original brass and brown porcelain castors making it easy to move as needed.

When the extending leaves of the table are removed, this table is circular.

Whatever function the new owners have in mind for this gorgeous dining table, it will make a profound impression on their  dinner guests or clients and will receive the maximum amount of attention wherever it is placed.

Our next recently sold item is this lovely set of Antique William IV Dining Chairs in Mahogany.

Their new owner will, no doubt, soon be appreciating these chairs with their plain top rails, carved tie bars, drop in seats on turned and reeded legs. The set also includes a pair of similar armchairs.

Finally for this time, we have found a new home for this Vintage Victorian Dining Table & 10 Chairs which was supplied by Maples of Tottenham Court Road, London.

The new owners appreciated, no doubt, the sheer quality of this set which comprises of a large table, 244cm in width when fully extended and ten solid mahogany chairs, two of which have arms. This table comfortably seats up to 10 people.
