This is an elegant antique aesthetic period burr maple and ebonized writing table, stamped 'EDWARDS & ROBERTS' Circa 1870 in date.
This elegant desk is crafted from the most beautiful maple with ebony banded decoration and ormolu beaded stringing.
The rectangular top is inset with a gold tooled dark green leather writing surface above two frieze drawers. It is raised on elegant twin turned and fluted column supports joined by a decorative stretcher and raised on outswept legs.
It is finished on all sides so that it can stand freely in the centre of your room.
Complete with workig locks and key.
