Ted Collin has always been a painter. After leaving Cambridge he studied for a year in Copenhagen with the Danish painter Arthur Nielson.
Conventional life brought him back to England to complete his law studies.
 
He painted as 'week-end painter' until 1965 when he gave up his law career to devote the whole of his time to painting.
 
He has had pictures accepted by the Royal Academy, the Royal Institute of Oil Painters and has exhibited on many occasions with the Royal Society of Marine Artists. His pictures are included in a number of private collections both in this country and abroad.
