This is a fantastic antique French sterling silver horse and jockey ebonised walking stick by George Howson, with hallmarks for 925 sterling silver, Circa 1880 in date.
It has a very decorative silver pommel depicting a race horse with a mounted jockey which is cast with great attention to detail with a sturdy ebonised tapering shaft which comes complete with it's original ferrule.
It is a lovely item and as such would be appreciated by any collector of walking sticks or canes.
