This is a beautiful continental antique silver gilt pommel walking stick, circa 1890 in date
 
The striking stick features an ornate silver gilt handle that has oval interlaced and flowerhead swagwork borders enclosing an engine-turned handle, on a gentle tapering ebonized shaft.
