This is a monumental two-tier pond fountain sculpted in bronze in the Baroque style and dating from the late 20th Century.
This formidable fountain sprays water out of the top through a standing cherub into the top tier and out through four Pegasus winged horses into the second tier and out through six lion's head water cartouches. It is heavily decorated with grape vine and shells.
It is raised by a column with four classically dressed maidens each holding a musical instrument and offerings of fruit and flowers.
This fountain is cast from solid bronze and was made by the traditional lost wax "cire perdue" method.
Add an elegant element to your garden with this lovely fountain, which can be used as a stand-alone fountain or as a centrepiece to a pond.
