This is a spectacular vintage larger than life-size bronze statue of the German-born theoretical physicist, Albert Einstein, sitting in a relaxed and informal way on a wodden outdoor bench and dating from the late 20th century.

This remarkable statue is made from solid bronze. It features the famous mathematician seated on a teak bench in a forward head posture, with his facial expressions caught in deep and profound thinking. He is dressed formally and is posing his right arm on the back of the bench while his legs are comfortably crossed one on the other.

This high-quality hot cast solid bronze statue was produced by using the traditional "lost wax" process, otherwise known as the "cire perdue" method.

Given the exceptional size and high-quality intricate detailing, this outstanding statue will soon become the central point of your collection and is sure to receive the most attention wherever it is placed.

Albert Einstein 14 March 1879 – 18 April 1955) was a German-born theoretical physicist. He developed the general theory of relativity, one of the two pillars of modern physics (alongside quantum mechanics). Einstein's work is also known for its influence on the philosophy of science. Einstein is best known in popular culture for his mass–energy equivalence formula E = mc2 (which has been dubbed "the world's most famous equation").[7] He received the 1921 Nobel Prize in Physics for his "services to theoretical physics", in particular his discovery of the law of thephotoelectric effect, a pivotal step in the evolution of quantum theory.

Lost Wax Method
sometimes called by the French name of cire perdue or the Latin, cera perduta is the process by which a bronze or brass is cast from an artists sculpture.

In industrial uses, the modern process is called investment casting. An ancient practice, the process today varies from foundry to foundry, but the steps which are usually used in casting small bronze sculptures in a modern bronze foundry are generally quite standardised.
