This vibrantly painted oil captures the striking view of the river with the town of Sonning-on-Thames in the background.
It is housed in its original beautiful gilt gallery frame decorated with acanthus leaves.
The artist presents this tranquil scene with a very delicate palette of colours and has succeeded in adding great depth to the scenery.
